1. Our Core Principles

- UN Palermo Protocol on Trafficking in Persons
- IRIS Ethical Recruitment Standards (IOM)
- Relevant national laws in Bangladesh, Germany, Serbia, and other host countries
2. Zero Tolerance for Trafficking
We do not tolerate:
- Coercion, fraud, or deception in recruitment
- Retention of passports or personal documents
- Recruitment of persons under false promises
- Withholding of wages or forced labor
- Charging unlawful or excessive recruitment fees
3. Ethical Recruitment Commitments
We commit to:
- Free and informed consent: Every candidate must voluntarily agree to migration terms after being fully informed
- No worker-paid recruitment fees: All processing, placement, or visa fees are borne by employers or transparently disclosed
- Clear job offers: Workers receive written employment contracts in their native language before departure
- Respect for dignity and rights: Workers must have access to safe working conditions, freedom of movement, and timely wages
- Post-arrival support: We maintain contact and assist workers after arrival to ensure smooth integration and legal compliance
4. Partner & Employer Vetting
We only work with:
- Legally registered agencies and companies
- Employers who offer written, fair employment contracts
- Partners who agree to our code of conduct and do not exploit migrant labor
- Agencies who pass our Due Diligence Assessment, which includes:
- Business license verification
- Compliance with local labor and immigration laws
- Past worker treatment record
5. Monitoring & Grievance Mechanisms
- All workers receive a helpline number for reporting misconduct or abuse
- We regularly audit partners and job sites through remote or local contacts
- Workers can submit complaints anonymously via email or form
- We take immediate action if any partner is found violating this policy
6. Worker Education
Before departure, all selected candidates receive:
- A Pre-departure orientation on their rights, job terms, local laws, and red flags
- Emergency contacts in both sending and receiving countries
- Guidance on how to report abuse and contact consulates or NGOs
7. Accountability and Transparency
- We maintain full documentation of each recruitment case
- Our staff and agents receive regular training in ethical recruitment and trafficking prevention
- We publicly report our policies and invite independent audits as needed
